Thank You for the Light by F. Scott Fitzgerald

So, here's another Fitzgerald story that a friend recently alerted me to. Seems..., I don't know, somehow timely to share it, in light of last week's horrific tragedies.

My favorite place to giggle has always been in church--humor to counter the solemnity that can become overbearing. Destructive. Fanatical, sadly.    

Thank You for the Light, originally published in 1936, was republished in 2012 in The New Yorker, and it will still leave you smiling.
